WHAT IS LATINXCHEM?
LatinXChem is a virtual forum through which the community of Latin American chemists, located anywhere in the world, can share and discuss their research results and advances.
The first event organized by LatinXChem will be LatinXChem 2020, where posters divided into eleven categories can be discussed via Twitter. For four years, the Royal Society of Chemistry has successfully organized the #RSCPoster Twitter Conference. Our forum aims to extend this wonderful idea to Latin America.

From September 14 to 18 a serie of 12 Webinars will be delivered, one for each category plus a Closing Webinar; at the end of these Webinars, the winners of the best posters will be awarded.
ACCESS TO THESE WEBINARS IS LIMITED; PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE PARTICIPANTS ALREADY REGISTERED IN LATINXCHEM 2020.
ADVANTAGES
You can participate regardless of where you are.
You can participate by registering your research project in one or more of the event categories.
You can participate regardless of whether you are working at home or in the laboratory.
Being a virtual event, its environmental footprint is lower: it does not pollute, it does not generate garbage, you do not need to travel, the costs decrease substantially, without demerit to the quality of the work, or to the scientific discussion they will generate.
For each category, the best works will be selected for an award. Our sponsors will deliver prizes (book vouchers) in the range from 100-200 USD. The best poster overall of the event will be awarded a special prize (200 USD) as well as one prize for the most popular work (100 USD). The prizes will be presented at the end of the corresponding category Webinar.
Follow-UP STEPS
Register your poster here. The posters can be presented in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
Tweet your poster to the @LatinXChem Twitter account, including a title, a summary and the hashtags relevant to the theme, starting at 12 noon (UTC) on September 7, 2020. The event will last 24 hours.
Discuss and share with other participants throughout the event. Be sure to answer community and jury questions.

You can choose any dimensions and format for your poster, the important thing is that the text and figures are clear. We recommend testing your poster on Twitter before the conference. Some useful tips to create your Twitter poster are available here:
